Welcome to the Live Oak Jaguars!
Our primary goal is to provide youth with opportunities for skills development, teamwork and participate in a competitive-fun environment. When adopting rules, establishing standards, and in all planning aspects the primary consideration will be what is best for our youth participants. Our youth represent the different cultural backgrounds that make up our city and surrounding communities. We are one of a few teams within TYFA, that have our own football complex located in the beautiful Live Oak City Park, located just Northeast of San Antonio.

Before You Ask
Online Registration for the Fall 2024 Season is open. Please complete registrations online. QR Code is on the attached flyer or use the url. Spread the Word!!!
Fall practice starts 15 July 2024. Mondays through Fridays from 6pm - 8pm, at Live Oak Park, 18001 Park Drive, Live Oak, TX 78233 --- Al Hollins' Field of Dreams Football Field. In August, practice will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6pm - 8pm. Once games start, Football may have walk-through practices on Friday from 6pm-8pm or less in time. There are a total of 8 regular season games, normally played on Saturdays. Possibly on a Sunday if reschedule of a game. Game season begins in September and ends in November with playoffs in December.

Weather Note: We will notify you on our website home page under "BEFORE YOU ASK" section of any cancellations due to inclement weather. Please know that Football still practices / plays games when it rains.

What you need to wear/bring for practice:
Football required items: Preferably Teal or black t-shirt, Black Athletic Shorts, Black integrated pants, Black Socks, cleats, mouth guard/piece and Water Bottle (Flag football players do not require black integrated pants)
Cheer required items: Preferably Teal or black t-shirt, Black Athletic Shorts, Black Socks and tennis shoes and Water Bottle
Items can be purchased at Academy Sports and Dicks Sports.
Please dress your child appropriately for the weather.
Please ensure that your child brings his/her own water bottle (we do not recommend Gatorade during practice) and extra water to refill. Make sure your child stays hydrated during the day. No heavy meals before practice.

FOOTBALL / CHEER EQUIPMENT
Good Day Jaguars Parents,
We ask that you supply the black integrated football pants, t-shirt, athletic shorts, supporter, socks, cleats/cheer shoes and mouthpiece. Game jersey/cheer uniform and other equipment/apparel will be furnished. Registration fees are used to purchase equipment, uniforms, officials, field maintenance needs, and storage. Note: The equipment, which you rent (helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey/shirt) are property of the Live Oak Jaguars and MUST be returned at the conclusion of the season.
